THE PAN AM TIMES

The PAN AM TIMES is the official publication of the Pan American Student Forum.  It is published twice during the school year (Fall, Spring) and it is the only organizational means for a PASF chapter to publicize its activities. It is important that you use this newsletter as your source of information.  Make sure your club reporter submits articles regarding PASF activities for the newsletter.

When submitting an article for the PAN AM TIMES, please follow these guidelines:

1.      The contents of the article must be newsworthy.  Examples:  educational activities, chapter travel/trips, guest speakers, slide shows/films, and other activities pertinent to the purpose of the organization.  Keep in mind this year's theme:

La América Central: Puente de las Américas

           2.      Compose “eye-catching” headlines.

           3.  HAVE THE CHAPTER SPONSOR EDIT THE ARTICLE BEFORE IT IS SENT.

           4.  Observe postmark deadlines:

Fall deadline:                        Friday, September 9, 2011

Spring deadline:                   Monday, January 13, 2012

5.  The Publicity Director reserves the right to edit submitted articles.  Photos (used   only if space permits) will not be returned.

6.  The e-mail service should be used to submit articles; however, please send articles in  the body of regular e-mail, not as an attachment, (because of virus and worm fear).  E-mail to  amanda.cortez@stisd.net

7Articles typewritten and double-spaced on standard white paper, may also be mailed to:
