Convention activities last two days
and include the following:
Friday afternoon:
- Registration (Registration packets
will be picked up by the PASF sponsor at the registration site.)
- Mixer - Open to all students
from registered chapters
- Scholarship Interviews
- Rehearsal for Noche Panamericana
- Spanish Reading Comprehension
Test
- Spanish Listening Comprehension
Test
- TAMOAS
Friday evening:
- Introduction of Candidates
- National MOAS Delegates
- Mexico City Scholarship Recipients
- Noche Panamericana
Saturday morning and afternoon:
- Sponsor's Breakfast Meeting
- Spanish Contests
- Meeting of Student Officer Candidates
- Workshops
- TAMOAS
- Scrapbook Judging
- The Río Show
Saturday evening:
- Business Session which includes
announcement of winners of:
Scholarships, Scrapbooks, Contests, and TAMOAS winners
- Gran Baile which includes announcement
of State Board Officer
election results
NOTE: Sunday:
- Business Breakfast for outgoing
and incoming Board members
We encourage schools to participate
and become involved in Convention. If your chapter would like to sponsor a number
for Noche Panamericana, use the appropriate form included in this web page.
Also
contact the PASF office in writing or e-mail by January 18, 2008, if your chapter would
like to participate in other activities of the Convention such as:
** Room monitors for the Scrapbook Contest
** Ushers for Noche Panamericana
** Ushers for the Business Meeting
